What happens if I get a traffic infringement?
Traffic infringements may be issued for a number of driving and/or parking offenses in New Zealand, including speeding, going through a red light, failing to purchase parking tickets and exceeding a parking time limit.
If we receive an infringement incurred during your rental period, we will complete a statutory declaration to this effect, and the fine will be sent to you at the address you provided us. We charge a $60 NZD admin fee per infringement for this service to the card provided at the time of rental. Unfortunately, we cannot pay the infringement for you, only the admin fee.
