To protect the safety and wellbeing of employees, customers and the communities we serve during the ever-evolving COVID-19 situation, and to comply with the New Zealand Government, our New Zealand business is mandated to close its rental car offices from 11:59pm Wednesday the 25th of March 2020 for a minimum of 4 weeks.
When do I need to return the car?
You are able to return your rental vehicle to any one of the below NZ branches during the Level 4 restrictions are in place as long as it abides by local law to do so.
I’m due to return the vehicle soon, can I keep it longer?
Please reach out to one of the branches below to arrange an extension to your rental contract.
How do I return the car?
If you return after the level 4 restriction are in place, follow the below instructions on how to return your car whilst our staff are not on site. Please follow the below instructions to return your vehicle at the location of your choice:

Park in the designated Enterprise Rent A Car parking area behind the Enterprise Rent A Car Office and take the key and parking ticket over to Bus Stop 1.
Please give the key & parking ticket to the Park & Ride staff at the desk and advise the staff you are returning an Enterprise Rent A Car vehicle.
If you are returning after 31st March, please proceed to the main carpark A at the International Airport, and park near the exit booth. Once ready return your keys to the booth payment window where an airport attendant will be able to assist.

Park in the designated Enterprise parking bay and place the keys in the after-hours drop box at the Enterprise counter inside the Terminal. There is a key drop box located at the counter.

Please make sure the car is in the Enterprise parking row (114 to 90).
Return the vehicle keys to the return drop box on the wooden shed currently marked AVIS/BUDGET.
Every couple of days one of our team members will take those keys and check the car and send you a closed contract for confirmation.

How will you know I’ve returned the car?
In order for us to close your rental contract, we will need you to take the following digital photos of your returned rental vehicle:

Note: Please keep your email size limit to less than 10mb. If you feel you may exceed this, please send your photos in 2-3 batches.
